Prof. Jiying JIANG is currently an Assistant Professor of Department of Government and Pubic Administration. She received her PhD in Political Science from University of California San Diego.

Dr. Jiang’s research focuses on Chinese politics and policy making. She uses large collections of texts on legislative and policy processes in China to answer questions of how public policy is formulated and how policy power is shared in the regime. Her dissertation examines the political logic of ambiguity in Chinese national statutes. Her other works explore dynamics of policy coordination and policy diffusion.
