Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science

The Ph.D. in Political Science is designed to train students to conduct advanced scholarly research in international relations, comparative politics, or political theory and to prepare them for academic and research-oriented careers.
Course Plan
Successful completion of the Ph.D. requires passing all compulsory and required elective courses, the Qualifying Examinations, and thesis proposals assessment. Additionally, all Ph.D. students must research and write an original doctoral thesis and successfully defend it before a faculty committee.
