Tao LI is Associate Professor in the Department of Government and Public Administration at the University of Macau. He obtained a Ph.D. in Political Science and an M.A. in Statistics from Harvard University, as well as B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration and a B.A. in Economics from Peking University. Dr. Li’s research focuses on formal theory, as well as on Chinese public policy and political economy, especially education and labor policy, bureaucracy, and party politics. His articles have appeared in such journals as the Journal of Theoretical Politics, Social Choice and Welfare, Economics of Education Review, and the Journal of Public Economics.
